## Know how zero-knowledge architecture works?

Zero-knowledge architecture is a highly secure encryption method that ensures only you can access your [stored 
unlimited credentials](https://allpasshub.com/feature/unlimited-credentials/). In this method, two things happen to the 
Master Password.

We use PBKDF2-SHA256 with 600,000 iterations to derive an encryption key. Then we perform one more iteration and use 
this as a separate authentication construct.

Once authentication is successful and the vault is retrieved, we use AES 128-bit with the encryption key to decrypt 
(and encrypt) your vault.

This approach keeps your sensitive data protected from hackers, service providers, and even the platform itself.
